Privacy Policy

At Verdify (by Simplenaire AI), we prioritize the confidentiality and integrity of your firm's data above all else. This policy outlines how we comply with the Zambia Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021 and broader ethical standards.

1. Data Controller vs. Data Processor

When your firm uploads legal documents, contracts, or client agreements to Verdify, your firm remains the Data Controller. Verdify acts strictly as a Data Processor. It is the responsibility of the firm/lawyer to ensure they have the proper legal basis and client consent to process the uploaded documents using our systems.

2. Our AI Sub-processors & "Zero-Training" Promise

Verdify provides advanced legal intelligence by leveraging industry-leading Large Language Models (LLMs) operated by our sub-processors (Google LLC and Anthropic PBC).

Strict Promise: We exclusively access these models via Enterprise API endpoints. This means any text, documents, or queries you process through Verdify are fundamentally isolated from the AI provider's public systems. Your data is never used to train, improve, or fine-tune their foundational models.

3. Data Localization & Cross-Border Transfers

In accordance with Section 71 of the Zambia Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021, we are required to inform you regarding cross-border data transfer. To ensure enterprise-grade security and reliability, our secure database infrastructure (Supabase) is physically located in data centers spanning the EU and US.

By using Verdify, you provide express consent for the necessary, encrypted cross-border transmission of your queries and documents to these enterprise servers.

4. Data Deletion and Security

Verdify employs stringent tenant isolation. Multi-factor authentication, military-grade encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), and AES-256 encryption at rest are standard. If you delete a document from Verdify’s "Firm Memory", all associated text chunks, files, and vector embeddings are permanently, irreversibly destroyed via cascading database deletions.
